The International Knowledge Exchange Network for Mental Health (IKEN-MH) is hosting a webinar series over the next 12 months that will showcase best and promising practices related to mental health programs, research, policy, and knowledge exchange on an international scale.
We invite you to the second webinar of this series. “…improvement in population health is only possible if countries make the prevention and treatment of mental and substance use disorders a public health priority”. Whiteford et. al (Lancet 2013).
This webinar will look at a wider population and community targeted approach to improve mental health and wellbeing for all. Rethinking what we should invest in, how governments need to work, how prevention and treatment systems are designed, and how outcomes and aims are shared will be critical.
The webinar will present case studies from four International Initiatives for Mental Health Leadership (IIMHL) membership countries.

The International Knowledge Exchange Network for Mental Health (IKEN-MH) was jointly envisioned by the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) and the International Initiative for Mental Health Leadership (IIMHL) to increase the capacity for effective knowledge exchange in mental health by connecting people, ideas, and resources on a global level.
