The Health Equity Impact Assessment (HEIA) Community of Interest invites you to its upcoming webinar, "Assessing and reducing health disparities in virtual care."
The COVID-19 pandemic forced healthcare providers to rapidly transition to virtual services. While organizations across Ontario worked hard to offer their services virtually, many recognized that the sudden shift created unique and significant equity challenges. Service providers and policy makers are speaking up and looking for strategies to make virtual services more equitable.
- provide an overview of the Digital Health Equity Framework
- describe how the framework aligns with Ontario’s Health Equity Impact Assessment (HEIA)
- share insights from a HEIA completed recently by CAMH’s Virtual Mental Health and Outreach Services.
