Building Capacity for Grant Writing in the Social Work Community

Building Capacity for Grant Writing in the Social Work Community

January 11, 2022 @ 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. ET

Presented by: Donna Forster, MSW, PhD, RSW

Social work programs offer students a variety of learning opportunities. One specific type of learning is grant writing. Students are sometimes introduced to grant writing when invited to support grant applications on behalf of thesis supervisors. They may also be encouraged to submit grant applications for their own research. This webinar will introduce students to a set of grant writing strategies designed to increase their familiarity and confidence with the process. The seminar will also address the specific challenges faced by academic grant writers.

This Webinar is FREE for Ontario Registered Social Workers (RSW), Registered Social Service Workers (RSSW) and Students of Social Work and Social Service Work Programs. Please note: If you are not an RSW, RSSW or student of these programs in Ontario, you may still attend but will be charged a nominal fee of $20.
