Call for Abstracts
Mark your calendar for the Canadian Children, Youth and Communities (CCYC) Health In | Equity Conference, being held online October 21-22, 2022. This year's theme is: Reflecting, Re-imagining and Re-building: Post-pandemic systems to empower children, youth and families.
This interdisciplinary conference is designed to bring together pediatric health and allied health care professionals to address health care inequities from birth to adolescence using a family-centred approach.
We're excited to announce that abstract submissions are now being accepted. Submissions for workshops and digital poster presentations are welcome. The deadline to submit an abstract for the CCYC Health In | Equity Conference is: Monday, May 16, 2022 (11:59 pm EST).
Abstract topics and categories may include:
- Healthcare inequities and healthcare system barriers among all children, youth and communities.
- Impact and considerations of various social determinants of health and inequity on the well-being of children, youth and communities.
- Solutions to address system level inequities among vulnerable and marginalized populations from birth to adolescence.
