This workshop helps those living with or caring for someone with serious mental illness such as psychosis or schizophrenia become a partner in recovery and healing.

This virtual format will teach:

·    Healthier Thinking

·    Healthier Communication

·    Healthier Home Life

Who:

Family, friends & caregivers of those living with psychosis.

Why CBT-p?

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBTp), is goal-based and focuses on problem solving – issues that surface in day to day home life. It is a focused, short-term approach to help those with psychosis make sense of what is happening within and around them, and to evaluate and respond to what is going on.

What:

Caregivers learn effective CBT-p informed strategies to become a recovery partner to their family member or loved one living with psychosis. Additional learnings include self-care tips, resources & coping strategies for added resilience and an improved relationship with their loved one.

  • Dates: Offered in 3 sessions - August 24th, 26th and 31st
  • Time: 6pm to 8pm
  • Note: This is a virtual workshop consisting of three sessions; access will be provided to registrants.


For those interested, an exclusive small-group coaching session package is available in follow up to the workshop. This course is specifically for family members and caregivers. There will be a course for professionals at a later date. Find more information here.
