This workshop will delve into self care - for the care giver.  The well being of a care giver must come from within.  The drum is a natural healing instrument that reaches us inside.  During this workshop, we will discuss self care through the actual creation of a drum, the concepts of wellness through Culture and Identity and being proud of - who you perceive yourself as. The workshop will be conducted as the drum is constructed and opportunities to share concepts of wellness with one another will be explored.

Learning Objectives:

1. Understanding ourselves through our own lens and definition

2. Utilizing a Natural Helper to teach us to feel Naturally Well

3. Sharing our stories and concepts to the path to wellness

4. Construction of a Healing Instrument
