ECHO Ontario Child and Youth Mental Health Next Cycle Begins

Are you a Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in Ontario or on a team where they could join with you?

Limited spots available! Our next cycle begins on February 4, 2021.  These weekly ECHO sessions take place via Zoom from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. EST every Thursday for 24 weeks.

Are Child and Youth Mental Health problems a challenge in your practice?

Are you interested in learning more about child and youth mental health? Do you have any child/youth cases that you would like to run by specialists and fellow PCPs for advice and suggestions? Can you take advantage of one-to-one Hub Specialist consultations? Can you (or your team members) commit to 1 hr/week for 24 weeks? Do you want to learn more about how to navigate the child and youth mental health system and the CYMH services available to your patients in your area?

If you answered, "Yes!" to any of these questions, then ECHO Ontario Child and Youth Mental Health is for you!

These virtual education sessions are offered at no cost to participants. Earn up to 24 certified Mainpro+® credits!

ECHO is an innovative, technology enabled collaborative learning program
where primary care providers and mental health clinicians work together through videoconferencing to discover new ways to care more effectively for children and adolescents with mental health problems.

Winter 2021 cycle will consist of 60-minute weekly ECHO Sessions.

24-week curriculum covering topics such as: Self-Harm and Suicide, Anxiety in Toddlers, Children and Teens, Aggression in Toddlers, Children and Teens, Mental Health Services System Navigation, Enhancing Parent-Child Relationships, Depression in Children and Teens, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Motivational Interviewing (MI).
