Presented by: Candies Kotchapaw, BSW, MSW, CYW

This course exposes social work practitioners to the nuanced approach to program design for economic justice in B3 (Black-focused, Black-led, and/or Black-serving groups) organizations. Social work practitioners will explore the use of social and public policy established frameworks to inform non-precarious employment development programs that prioritize economic security for Black communities. Practitioners will learn how B3 organizations utilize various forms of advocacy tied to social justice to drive systems change.

This course is one of many OLC offerings that is available for free to Registered Social Workers, Registered Social Service Workers and students in those programs in Ontario, until June 24, 2022. Please note: If you are not an RSW, RSSW or student of these programs in Ontario, you may still attend but will be charged a fee of $50.
