EHN Canada Webinar: Spirituality and Recovery

You’re invited for EHN Canada’s next educational webinar:

Spirituality and Recovery

With Colette Currin, CCAC

Counsellor and National Director of Business Development for Military, Veterans, and First Responders, EHN Canada

Spirituality has a consistent role in many recovery programs. Because spirituality is extremely personal, many programs leave the definition up to the individual. This broad term can refer to a connection with a higher power outside of the individual or to a broader sense of meaning. Spirituality can also be defined as a connection to nature, to the universe or all living creatures. People can define spirituality by whatever connection is meaningful to them. Join Colette Currin, Counsellor and National Director of Business Development for Military, Veterans, and First Responders as she provides her expertise on how spirituality can have a great influence on one’s recovery journey.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Explore the role that spirituality plays in recovery
  • Summarize how spirituality has varying meanings and is rooted in an individual’s definition
  • Understand that spirituality is one of many ways to navigate recovery
  • The importance of seeking out recovery programs that best suit a patient’s individual needs

Date: November 18, 2021 – 12pm ET, 9am PT
