Sean Nestor MD, PhD, completed his medical and doctoral studies
concurrently at the University of Toronto where he developed novel
software for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to explore how the
brain is disrupted in neurodegenerative diseases. Currently, Dr.
Nestor is completing his residency in psychiatry at the Harquail
Centre for Neuromodulation, Department of Psychiatry, at the
University of Toronto. During his residency he received a commission
from the Labatt Family Network for Research in Depression to examine
how the brain's structure and function changes in response to
stimulation in persons with depression.
