Get Reel Film Fest Workshop: Getting Reel about our Stories

The Get(ting) Reel About Our Stories workshop is a space to learn some tools for using creative writing and expressive arts to explore themes of mental health, seeking support, and practices of community and self-care. Guided by Peer Ambassador Husna Raghe and Clinician Charlotte Johnston, this workshop will be a space to explore principles of narrative approaches to mental health and how to apply these in creative ways in order to tell stories.

This group will be open to anyone over the age of 16 years old and will take place at the Stella’s Place building located at 54 Wolseley St, Toronto, ON M5T 1A5 (near Queen & Bathurst).

Accessibility notes: Our building has barrier-free access, elevators, and ramps, and accessible gender-neutral bathrooms. Please let us know if you have additional access needs in advance of the session by reaching out to cjohnston@stellasplace.ca.
