Grief and Transitions: Cultural Mosaic and Beyond

This webinar provides an opportunity for participants to start the process of exploring critical tools for providing effective interventions for racialized clients going through bereavement or other transitions, and applying these tools in their work with their clients. Since the onset of Covid 19, research demonstrates added complexity for most clients experiencing bereavement, particularly racialized populations. In this webinar, Catherine will share an integrated model she created, which embeds best practices on culturally responsive clinical social work to support clients dealing with grief and transitions.

These tools are embedded in two clinical foci: Yin of culturally responsive bereavement support, and Yang of culturally responsive bereavement support - which will be discussed in this session. This webinar offers an enriching learning opportunity for social workers and other helping professionals who strive for excellence in their effectiveness in serving racialized clients going through bereavement.

This webinar is FREE for everyone!
