As experts in youth engagement, mindyourmind will be leading an “Ideathon” during Frayme’s 2022 Learning Institute. Over the course of three online sessions, youth participants will explore specific challenges that exist within the mental health and addiction sector. By using their creativity and innovation, youth will work together to develop solutions to these challenges. Participants will have a chance to pitch their ideas to a panel of judges, where a winning group will be selected (and yes, there will be prizes).
What is an Ideathon?
An Ideathon is a fast-paced event where participants collaborate with one another to develop unique solutions to identified challenges. It is also an opportunity for meaningful engagement and networking.
Who can participate?
This Ideathon is for any youth or caregiver advocate between the ages of 14-29 who is passionate about mental health and substance use care, and hoping to make a difference! You do not need to be registered for the Frayme 2022 Learning Institute to participate in this free event.

When will it take place?
Participants will be expected to attend all three of the following sessions:
- February 22nd, 2022 from 4:30pm - 6:30pm EST
- February 23rd, 2022 from 4:30pm - 6:30pm EST
- February 24th, 2022 from 10:00am - 11:30am EST
