The Annual Institute on Addiction Studies offers professional development and learning opportunities to those working and involved in substance use and related fields. This year’s annual Institute is in partnership with the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation and features the following presentations:

- “Cannon of Ethics”: Janice Dinsmore Czechowsky, Min., RP, RMFT, CCFT, CCS-AC, CCAC
- “Tech Overuse” : Ashley Davidson, BA, OCGC Concurrent Disorders, C.C.A.C
- “The Experience of Addiction within the Black Community: Treatments and Responses” : Esther Monari, RN, PhD candidate, Akin Taiwo, Assistant Professor of Social Work, King's University College
- Workshops on Gambling, Co-dependency, Issues in the Muslim Community, Youth/Addictions/Mental Health, Grief and many more.
All workshops and presentations attended at the Annual Institute on Addiction Studies conference are preapproved for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation (CACCF). Participants may also apply for CEUs through their own professional associations and certification bodies.
