#MHForAll: The Year of Human Rights and Mental Health

When it comes to mental health, it’s not enough to only talk about access to care. We cannot advance the conversation without addressing the fundamental issue of human rights.

At the last #MHForAll webinar presenters discussed the critical link between human rights and mental health, and the importance of promoting a rights-based approach to care. From ending institutionalization and coercive practices, to engaging UN mechanisms, it is clear that there is still a long way to go.

This session, presenters will be continuing the conversation around mental health and human rights, with a focus on how they will be put on the global agenda in 2021.
