Learn about strategies for assessing client needs using OCAN during the covid-19 pandemic.
What is happening?
The covid-19 pandemic impacts all of our lives. For vulnerable populations that rely on mental health services, it is particularly difficult. Now more than ever, it’s important to understand and help address the needs of people you serve. However, assessing needs using OCAN is challenging given the restrictions required to reduce the spread of covid-19.
CCIM invites you to a webinar to learn about strategies that 2 organizations use to complete OCANs: CMHA Peel Dufferin and CMHA Cochrane Timiskaming.
You will hear from stakeholders in various roles within the organizations including: client, peer support, direct service and management.
In this webinar you will learn about:
- Practical approaches to completing OCANs, including the self-assessment portion, during covid-19 restrictions
- Maintaining a recovery, strengths-based approach to completing OCANs despite obstacles posed by the pandemic
- Real stories of challenges and strategies shared by stakeholders in diverse roles within the organizations.
