Hi there:

This interests me but when I click the link there is no where I can see to
access further info (the dates listed are vague) is there a cost? What is
the time commitment? How do you sign up?

With thanks
Brenda Powling

Hi Brenda,

Thanks for pointing that out! I've updated our post with the application link, which you can also access here: https://peertalk.ca/recruitment. Applications are due on February 12th, 2023.

There are no associated costs with volunteering for Peer Talk. Toastmasters has a yearly sponsorship fee, but Hope and Me will cover that for all Peer Talk volunteers.

As for time commitments, we are looking for a one-year commitment. Club meetings occur twice a month on Thursdays, for 1.5 hours. There will also be work to do in your own time between meetings to prepare for speeches and meeting roles.

If you have any additional questions regarding this opportunity, please email peertalk@hopeandme.ca

Thanks,

Sammy
