Short events (3 days and under)

Perinatal Substance Use Workshop- Blended Online

I wanted to share information regarding an upcoming workshop on Perinatal Substance Use, intended for interprofessional health and social service providers. We have converted the workshop to a blended online format which includes approx. 4-6 hours of self-study on Google Classroom, and 4 hours of interaction on Zoom, scheduled for February 18^th 1230-1630. Access to the self-study materials on Google Classroom will be available one week in advance.

Two guest speakers have been confirmed:

Dr. Adam Newman - Family Practice Obstetrics, Harm Reduction & Addiction Medicine, Assistant Professor, Queen's University Departments of Family Medicine, Paediatrics and Psychiatry

Melanie Fulford – Manager, Child Protection Services, Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa
