Recognizing and Dismantling Antisemitism: A course for Practitioners and Educators

Recognizing and Dismantling Antisemitism: A course for Practitioners and Educators

Wednesday, March 22, 2023 @ 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET

Presented by: Dr. Karen Mock

By popular demand, and based on the feedback from the webinars, this course with Dr. Karen Mock will provide an opportunity to go into more depth and to develop practical strategies to deal with antisemitism in order to better support both clients and colleagues. Using an interactive meeting format, as well as small groups to discuss and resolve actual cases, participants will come away with: a fuller understanding of antisemitism in all its forms; how antisemitism manifests in the workplace; the impact of antisemitism on those who experience it; and practical strategies to resolve current tensions on this difficult topic. Participants will engage in discussions in a safe space on how to apply their skills as social workers in their workplace and in educational settings, in order to validate and empathize with Jewish clients and colleagues, with the end result that they will feel understood and supported.

Presented by: Dr. Karen Mock

Cost:
