Join global experts and stakeholders at the WHO Global E2P Summit (15–17 November 2021) to capitalize on lessons learned during the pandemic and explore pathways to strengthening crisis-resilient country capacities towards more equitable, resilient, and sustainable global health.

The event offers a platform for researchers, policymakers, civil society organizations, media representatives and others to spark new collaborations across the evidence-support system. Together, participants will explore pathways to achieving WHO's triple billion targets and the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Summit is organized by WHO's Evidence-informed Policy Network (EVIPNet), a global leader in empowering countries to put actionable evidence into the hands of users. With its global network and community of practice, EVIPNet country teams have been running successful knowledge-translation initiatives in more than 50 countries.

The Forum is helping to support the event:

  • John Lavis, Director of the McMaster Forum, is chairing the preparatory calls, will be moderating the expert panel at the end of day 1, and participating in other panels
  • Cristian Mansilla, Forum PhD Student and Queen Elizabeth Scholar is supporting the planning secretariat.

The Forum and members of COVID-19 Evidence Network to support Decision-making (COVID-END) are helping to support the event and will be contributing to the summit:

  • Jeremy Grimshaw, co-lead of COVID-END, will be presenting on COVID-END at the Americas regional session on day 1
  • Kaelan Moat, Managing Director of the McMaster Forum, will be moderating a panel on day 2 focused on connecting insights from the evidence-support ecosystem.

The virtual Summit is a public event and will be made available via web stream. Visit e2psummit2021.org for further details, including the summit agenda.
