Resilience & Preventing Anxiety and Depression

Presented by Dr. Milena Braticevic

The high level of uncertainty today calls for increased mental and physical resilience. This experiential workshop will introduce new thinking and behavior to improve overall wellbeing and increase adaptability to change. The program will address the main symptoms of anxiety and depression such as increased worry, inability to relax, burnout, and social isolation, and offer key strategies to develop the mind at both conscious and unconscious levels to prevent common mental disorders. You will gain an understanding of the role of perception, personality traits, and ego in your wellbeing and become more able to access your natural, relaxed state even in stressful situations. This prevention-oriented workshop is designed to address both personal and professional aspects of life, with positive effects on productivity, engagement, and creative problem solving.

This Webinar is FREE for Ontario Registered Social Workers (RSW), Registered Social Service Workers (RSSW) and Students of Social Work and Social Service Work Programs. Please note: If you are not an RSW, RSSW or student of these programs in Ontario, you may still attend but will be charged a nominal fee of $35.
