Dr. Amanda Uliaszek will present on BPD and stigma research and introduce a new intervention that her University of Toronto research lab has co-designed with a group of people with BPD to help reduce self-stigma. This talk will highlight the importance of including people with lived experience in research and interventions, note the detrimental impact of stigma in BPD, and talk about ways that family members might be aware of and reduce stigmatizing behavior and recognize self-stigma in their loved ones.
