The 8th Annual Cannabinoids in Clinical Practice Conference is taking place on April 21 - 22, 2022, co-hosted by the Canadian Consortium for the Investigation of Cannabinoids and the Toronto Cannabis and Cannabinoid Research Consortium. This year’s event will host the same high quality cannabinoid education, including the latest research findings on special topics in cannabinoid therapeutics from internationally recognized researchers, a clinician's panel, daily poster session and more! Register here. 2022 Trainee Research Spotlight Award The Canadian Consortium for the Investigation of Cannabinoids (CCIC) is announcing a call for applications for the Trainee Research Spotlight Award. Successful applicants of this award will receive an invitation to provide a platform presentation during the CCIC Conference. Applications are encouraged from all levels of trainees from undergraduate students, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. · 3 awards will be granted · $1,000 will be provided to offset the cost of travel and accommodation for attending the event in-person · Conference registration fee will be waived · Application Process: o Completed applications must be submitted according to the instructions provided on the Trainee Research Spotlight Award information & application package o Deadline for abstract and application submission is February 22, 2022. o All trainees actively conducting cannabinoid research at universities or research institutions are encouraged to apply.
