Mental health problems are ever-increasing, and it’s hard to get enough help. Luckily, many apps and websites provide free or low-cost help, but which ones are the best? This course will introduce you to key apps and web tools that work, and will also provide you with ongoing assistance as you use the apps in practice.
Target audience:
Family physicians, psychiatrists, and other mental health clinicians all over Canada

Wed 7 April 2021 4pm – 5pm (EST)
Cost: $50 CAD*
*Note: $50 is the tuition cost for the course; there is a separate $20 fee for anyone who wishes for an official accreditation certificate.
Aim of this course:
- Learn how to evaluate and pick mental health apps
- Explore top mood and anxiety apps and websites
- Practice and get support using these apps and webtools
Accreditation: CME Credits for Family Physicians: This Group Learning Program meets the certification criteria of The College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by Queen’s University for up to 4 MAINPRO+ credits. Credits for Specialists: This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and approved by Queen’s University. You may claim a maximum of 4 credits.
Format: ONLINE: Initial 2-hour webinar, followed by 2 one-hour monthly webinars
