Virtual Peer Support Training

Virtual Peer Support Training

Hope+Me - Mood Disorders Association of Ontario (MDAO) is pleased to offer a new cohort of our virtual peer support training program. This four-module training program is unique in the field of mental health peer support. Based on the Mental Health Commission of Canada’s standards, and over thirty-five years of providing exceptional peer support to individuals and families struggling with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, our certified training program is unparalleled.

This extensive training program covers four modules outlining the values and principles of peer support, practical techniques to be used in both groups, and one-to-one settings, and an exploration of best practices to use in complex situations.

Participation in this training program also allows participants to gain access to continued education from Hope+Me - MDAO through the Community of Practice Meetings following the completion of the training. This enables participants to continue to develop their skills, get support for challenges they may be experiencing, and remain involved with a network of peer supporters.

For a limited time only, take advantage of our spring promotional rate at $750.
