Strengthen your leadership proficiency and further develop the practical skills you need to be a more effective supervisor in health and human services. This webinar series will help build your skills in the following areas:
- Webinar 1 - Essential skills for the new supervisor: Explore the basics of supervision such as how to set clear expectations, how to delegate effectively, give positive and corrective feedback as well as how to coach for improved performance.
- Webinar 2 - Leadership and motivation for supervisors: Examine the leadership tools supervisors can use to connect employees to the vision of the organization, motivate them, implementing change, build a strong team and use influence skills.
- Webinar 3 - Holding difficult conversations for supervisors: Being able to address issues with individuals is a key supervisory skill. This webinar walks you through a complete “how-to” for preparing and conducting any difficult conversation.
- Webinar 4 - Cultivating your credibility and influence as a supervisor: Learn how to engage people in a way that gains their trust and respect, and how a supervisor can create the conditions for a beneficial and positive working relationship with others.
The individual webinars may be taken separate from the certificate program as stand-alone trainings; however, all four webinars must be completed to obtain the certificate.
Registration fees: $950 for the full certificate program (all four webinars), or $250 for each individual webinar. Student and group rates are available.
