Description: Clients presenting with either a substance use or mental health problem are more likely than not to have a concurrent disorder. By understanding the connection or co-occurring interaction between the substance use and mental health problems, this will enhance the quality for developing effective assessment, treatment and community-based plans using collaborative, integrative and responsive approaches to client care. This webinar will provide a clinical overview for assessment, practical applications, and tools and techniques for working with adolescents (age 12 to 18) and/or adult clients.
