FREE Virtual YMCA Youth Gambling Awareness Program Webinar

I wanted to let you know about our upcoming Gambling and Media Literacy webinar hosted by the Youth Gambling Awareness Program (YGAP) with the YMCA of Greater Toronto. Below is a brief description about the webinar:

How many youth were exposed to a gambling ad during lockdown? Can Twitch be used to gamble? Are influencers being used to market gambling products?

The YMCA of Greater Toronto's Youth Gambling Awareness Program's (YGAP) Media Impact presentation will tackle these questions and more, in a free hour-long session.

The webinar is designed for educators, community leaders, parents, and anyone else who is curious about the latest gambling trends on social media and in advertising, and their impact on youth. Additionally, all webinar participants will be provided with strategies and techniques they can pass onto youth that will assist them in identifying the objective and impact of media content and advertisements.

The webinar is FREE to attend and is being offered on:

  • Friday, January 6th at 1:00pm EST - 2:00pm EST.

If you are interested in attending, you can register for the webinar through this link: https://ymcagta-org.zoom.us/we...g8qDmyR4-j1D7a7X7c0Q
