Relapse Prevention and Inventory of Gambling Situations

This webinar will discuss the purpose of relapse prevention, as well as how the Inventory of Gambling Situations can be utilized as a relapse prevention tool in problem gambling treatment.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Recognize previous situations where the client gambled problematically
  2. Anticipate future situations where the client may be triggered to gamble
  3. Develop an individualized treatment plan that includes aftercare planning
  4. Develop and enhance strategies for coping with high-risk situations in order to prevent a return to problematic gambling behaviours.
