Interesting! The etiology (why something occurs/cause of the condition) and the intersection of that cause with other disorders can be important to understand. By targeting things at the roots rather than the symptoms, we're more likely to be effective in the long term. Things like impulse control and emotion dysregulation being factors to potentially target for PTU might be important, especially as it relates to other things like conduct disorder (and by targeting these, we might get two birds with one stone).
