FREE Virtual YMCA Youth Gambling Awareness Program Webinar

The Youth Gambling Awareness Program (YGAP) is hosting a virtual Financial Literacy webinar with the YMCA of Greater Toronto. Below is a description of the webinar:

Have you read the news lately and wondered what all this talk of Robinhood is about? Or maybe you've asked yourself if cryptocurrency can be used in an online casino, and if so how? Perhaps you've even wondered what happens to gambling debts during bankruptcy?

If you've ever wondered the answer to any of these questions the YMCA's Youth Gambling Awareness Program (YGAP) is offering a free webinar that will discuss these topics and more. It is a comprehensive look at how gambling relates to finances both by analyzing the direct impact it can have on the individual (bankruptcy, casino lines of credit, etc...) and the more unconventional ways in which gambling exists in the financial market (day trading, cryptocurrency, etc...)

The webinar is FREE to attend and is being offered on:

  • Friday, March 31st at 1:00pm EST - 2:00pm EST.

If you’re interested in attending, you can register for the webinar through this link:

Please feel free to share information about this webinar with anyone you feel may be interested.
