Reply to "IPTU Fall 2023: Online gaming operator fined $150K for failing to protect player from massive losses: AGCO"

This is a really upsetting article, it is hard to swallow that gambling operators will continue to prey on those who are high risk even without consent and breaking the AGCO rules to do so. For my practice this informs me that we cannot rely on gambling and gaming operators alone to follow the rules or properly monitor and risk assess the people we work with. This also taught me about how gambling operators can try and entice people to continue gambling with free credits and offers, this is something to keep on my radar for when I am helping individuals. I think these tactics and the operator's behaviour is unethical and slimy at best.
