This intersects well with the work of Dr Gabor Mate who talks about the connection between trauma and addiction. Thanks Peter and Hamza, this is so insightful. We did have Dr. Mate come present at Addiction Rounds a couple of years ago. It was really well received. Great to see this transfer over.

Thank you Peter for your insight. Dr. Gabor Mate's explanation of trauma and addiction definitely helps to shed light on the impacts of early childhood traumatic experiences and addiction. Also its nice to see that this work on trauma is being translated into the clinical practice setting.
