Gambling, Gaming & Technology Use Community of Interest

The Gambling, Gaming & Technology Use Community of Interest brings together addiction and mental health service providers, researchers and subject matter experts in the fields of gambling, technology/Internet use and video gaming to collaborate and share knowledge on emerging trends and clinical best practices.

Our newly released evidence-informed practice web page on adolescent problem gambling discusses the key concepts, latest research and clinical best practices for clients with gambling problems between the ages of 12 to 24 years of age. It also includes handouts tailored for your clients that you can use in your practice.

In your experience, what are the specific challenges when treating an adolescent with problem gambling? What resources would help you in providing the best possible care?
