How this could affect clients with problem social media use:

1) As this is something that can drastically change a major social media platform, there could be a spike in anxiety as people await the outcome of this business transaction.

2) Current speculations on what will occur if the transaction does go through is that the space will become more toxic and have more promotion of violence. This could decrease the safety of not only people online, but also people of minority who are not even online to begin with as people may be pushed into acting on discriminatory attitudes.

3) We may see an increase in online harassments that our clients face should the speculations in this article be correct.
