The Gambling, Gaming & Technology Use Community of Interest brings together addiction and mental health service providers, researchers and subject matter experts in the fields of gambling, technology/Internet use and video gaming to collaborate and share knowledge on emerging trends and clinical best practices.

It was an honour to be asked to create this parenting digital addictions signs, prevention and treatment tool, alongside several other experts, for Children and Screens Institute of Digital Media and Child. Feel free to share it in your circles.

I love how clearly this explains the reason young people can quickly move from use to problematic use. This is a great resource to use when discussing the topic with some of my colleagues who think that the students we have in our space should just put down their phones/devices/games and focus on their school work. It truly is not as easy as that for everyone. That dopamine rush!
