Video game play is positively correlated with well-being | Royal Society Open Science (royalsocietypublishing.org)

- This study shows an overall positive correlation between video game play and an individual's mental health

- It studies people playing the new Plants vs Zombies and Animal Crossing games, which are fairly "casual" gameplay experiences.  I am curious what the study would look like when run on more "competitive" gamers like MMO, MOBA and FPS players

-  They also noticed an interesting trend where people tend to overestimate the amount of time that they spend gaming, the participants in this study were over by an average of 0.5 - 1.5 hrs (part of the problem with current videogame research is that it is primarily self-report driven)
