Gambling, Gaming & Technology Use Community of Interest

The Gambling, Gaming & Technology Use Community of Interest brings together addiction and mental health service providers, researchers and subject matter experts in the fields of gambling, technology/Internet use and video gaming to collaborate and share knowledge on emerging trends and clinical best practices.

In case you missed it or wish to watch again, please check out GGTU's latest recorded webinar from May 25th, 2022 - 'Coping with Disaster: Mental Health, Substance Use and Financial Concerns Associated with Online Gambling During COVID-19'. This webinar represents part 2 of 3 in GGTU's 2022 series of standalone yet interconnected webinars titled, ‘The Impacts of Digital Technologies on Mental Health and Addictions’.

In this webinar, Dr. Alex Price (Responsible Gambling Council) presented new research from Ontario and across Canada on online gambling behaviours and their associations with mental health and substance use indicators, and financial motivations and concerns. This webinar will appeal to those interested in online gambling specifically and those with broader research and clinical interests in problem gambling and technology use.
