2 short animated videos on using structured measurement tools to inform care for youth

Video #1: "Monitoring Mental Health: Using measurement tools to inform care for youth" (2:56).
Structured measurement tools offer an organized approach to asking questions when screening for symptoms of mental health conditions in children and youth. These tools can also be used to monitor symptom change and can help physicians and other service providers make informed treatment changes (a concept called measurement-based care). Learn more in this video meant for primary care and other service providers.

Video #2: "Monitoring Mental Health: Using the Revised Children’s Anxiety and Depression Scale" (3:36).
The Revised Children’s Anxiety and Depression Scale (RCADS) assesses for both anxiety and depression in children and youth 8-18 years old. It’s currently free, validated, and recommended by an international group of experts. Learn more about the tool and how it can help determine if youth are responding to treatment in this video meant for primary care and other service providers.
