Carleton University Study - Virtual Counselling in COVID-19

Dear Colleagues,
My name is Ruxi Gheorghe, and I’m an MSW student at the Carleton University School of Social Work in Ottawa, Canada.
Carleton's SIM Social Work Research Lab is currently conducting a pilot study on mental health professionals’ online/video-conferencing work in the context of COVID 19 pandemic stress, with the research questions of: (1) How do clinicians engage client assessment of pandemic stress on a video-conferencing platform?; (2) how do clinicians’ own personal and professional experiences with the current pandemic impact their client assessment of pandemic stress?  All the study materials have been approved by the Carleton University Research Ethics Board.
We are seeking American or Canadian mental health professionals to participate in the online survey. This survey includes two simulated case scenarios portrayed by trained actors, as a way to experientially engage the participants and elicit their online assessment of pandemic stress. You will be qualified to participate in this study if you identify as a licensed or registered mental health professionals in Canada or the U.S. with a minimum of a Master’s degree (e.g., LCSW, RSW, LMHC, Clinical Psychologist, Psychiatrist).
This survey will take approximately 45 minutes to complete, and you will be compensated with a CAN$35 (appx. US$27) Starbucks e-gift card for your time. Please see the attached study flyer. The following link will provide you with the consent information and the online survey (also available in the attached flyer about the study):
I also would like to encourage you to share this study information to others who you think might qualify. Thank you so much for your assistance in advance!
