Help the YMCA’s YCAP-Y4Y contest choose a winner by joining the Contest Organizer’s Jury

Overview

The YMCA of Greater Toronto's Youth Cannabis Awareness Program (YCAP) is presently running a Digital Media Contest that challenges youth (ages 18 – 25) to create a video or poster discussing how cannabis use affects youth brain development, and we were wondering if you’d be willing to help us choose a winner by joining the Contest Organizer’s Jury (CO Jury).

Details:

The CO Jury is made up of professionals whose work is focused on cannabis awareness or work with youth on a daily basis. Each member of the CO Jury will be asked to view the contest's top 10 videos and top 10 posters and complete a brief evaluation that judges both the each submission's visuals and messaging. The total expected time commitment for evaluating these submissions is about 1 hour.

When:

The CO Jury will be provided with the submissions the morning of August 30th, 2021 and will have until 11:59pm EDT on September 3rd, 2021 to complete their evaluation.

What's In It For You:

For your help selecting a winner, each CO Juror will receive a token of appreciation (i.e. a gift) and be invited to join one of our Provincial Partnership Committees where you'll have an opportunity to network and collaborate with fellow members working in the field of cannabis awareness across Canada. Additionally, by participating in the contest you’ll gain insight into what resonates with youth regarding cannabis awareness based on the messaging present in their submissions.

Register:

If you are interested in becoming a CO Juror, you can register by clicking HERE. If you’d like to learn more about the CO Jury you can register for an information session being held on August 25th @ 4:00pm EDT by clicking HERE.
