Hi,

As an educator with the Durham District School Board, I work in a Section 23 program in the Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences. I work with clients (18 -21 years old - both inpatients and outpatients) who are learning about their illness by participating in groups offered through the CONTACT centre at Ontario Shores. My role is help students earn high school credits while they are learning to manage their mental illness.We offer a blended credit that allows students to earn high school credit for the work they are doing in their CONTACT groups.
