That's a great question, @Registered Member, and one I think about a lot as a clinician at heart. I think it helps to have clinicians involved in systems-level work connect with clinicians at the front lines to make those linkages opaque. Often, quality improvement projects trickle down without buy-in or consultation with people at the front-lines, so I think having those conversations that align values can help with that.

I also wonder about how to create and nurture a culture of quality at the front-line, like how to get entire teams excited about attending rounds that talk about evidence-based practice or taking on an innovative service delivery project. Leadership is key for this culture piece, I think, because staff need to feel heard and supported and this behavior needs to be modeled. From my experience, there are lots of resources and opportunities for clinicians who are interested, but challenges persist in terms of cultivating this kind of culture.
