Reply to "Research Viewpoint: Five organizational domains in supporting racial equity in the child and youth mental health sector"

The authors of this commentary have also noted the Ontario Centre of Excellence for Child and Youth Mental Health's (the Centre) other work related to racial equity, diversity and inclusion in the child and youth mental health sector. The Centre published a literature review, "Advancing racial equity together", that identifies promising organizational efforts (e.g. leadership, workforce recruitment and training, youth and family engagement, etc.) to advance racial equity in the academic and grey literature. This literature review helped inform a study we are conducting in partnership with Children's Mental Health Ontario (CMHO) that examines:  1) what efforts and activities child and youth mental health agencies are currently engaging in to advance racial equity; 2) identify what initiatives show promise; and 3) identify supports that the Centre and CMHO can address. The Centre will be releasing a report with these results at the end of 2021. Stay tuned!
