Supervising Peer Workers: A Toolkit for Implementing and Supporting Successful Peer Staff Roles in Mainstream Mental Health and Substance
Use/Addiction Organizations

I am pleased to share this new work from the Centre for Excellence in Peer Support.  A toolkit designed for non-peer supervisors on supervising and supporting peer staff roles.  This was created in collaboration with the Centre for Innovation in Peer Support in Mississauga Halton LHIN region, and with many local community partners and their peer workers.  We hope that this toolkit lessens the knowledge gap in the field of  supervisors of peer workers being unfamiliar with peer support practices AND we were also careful to strongly encourage all mainstream organizations work with their local peer support experts.

I have attached the PDF but please also share using this link: https://cmhawwselfhelp.ca/wp-c...kit-CMHA-WW-2019.pdf

Please share widely.  It is amazing what can happen when we collaborate and share expertise.
