The Centre for Innovation in Campus Mental Health is working on a toolkit on Supporting 2SLGBTQ+ Students on Campus, and we are looking for collaborators! This project aims to provide staff on Ontario campuses with tools and strategies to build evidence-based services and shift campus cultural structures to better support the needs of members of 2SLGBTQ+ communities.

The topics that will be covered in this project include:

  • What is the landscape of mental health in 2SLGBTQ+ communities, and accessibility of comprehensive mental health supports
  • Heteronormativity/Cisnormativity in post-secondary institutions and how that impacts campus involvement and feelings of safety on campus
  • Considerations of intersectionality, such as race, gender & ability
  • Supporting Queer Faculty to better support Queer students

If you are interested in being a collaborator on this project, please fill out this survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/98WCBG5 by end of day on June 30, 2022.
