SafeGuards Training has a request for proposals (RFP) process for those who are interested in joining the SafeGuards Training Team. We seek proposals from skilled professionals to provide training related to trauma and trauma-informed practice.
Our training team helps to positively impact services for people by building the capacity of practitioners, staff, and senior management through high quality, professional development using evidence-informed practice, knowledge exchange and skill development.
Sectors Served
Safeguards is a non-profit organization which is a partnership of five provincial associations:
- Community Living Ontario
- Children’s Mental Health Ontario
- Association of Native Child and Family Services Agencies of Ontario
- Ontario Association of Residences Treating Youth
- Ontario Association of Young Parent Agencies
We provide training to staff of the association members as well as many other organizations working with individuals and families across Canada. This includes: mental health, child welfare, health, developmental services, out-of-home care, youth justice, education, employment, social services, housing and immigration sectors.
