Interesting question.  Have you likewise come across any recent research between the corporate determinants of health and behavioral addictions (gambling, gaming, etc.), for example? One might argue that similar questions can be asked of other "substances" - ones ingested cognitively or with our eyes/ears/, etc.  Additionally, one might assume that the placement of harm would change depending on where one fell across the lifespan (with under 19 usually having restricted access to harmful "substances", and an individuals own level of daily resiliency being a modifying factor of how/if harm is experienced (and why/from whom)!  This makes us also ask - where does cannabis potentially do its  greatest harm vs. where does the cannabis corporation potentially do its greatest harm?  It would also be important to note here that you do not have to be a cannabis user yourself to be experiencing harms from cannabis.  Thanks for posing this question - great for stimulating conversation on the topic.
