Coordinator, Grants and Programs - The Law Foundation Of Ontario

In this exciting role, you will play a vital part in supporting the Foundation’s overall grants administration and program functions. Reporting to the Director, Grants and Programs, and supporting a collaborative team of 4 Grants Managers, you will be responsible for: administering our grants database; processing applications and reviewing eligibility; tracking and reporting on grant and program activities; researching issues, data analysis and reporting; providing guidance and customer service to applicants and grantees; coordinating and facilitating team meetings, and special events such as workshops, focus groups, and award ceremonies; and, providing other support services (e.g., scheduling and meeting preparation) to the grants team.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a postsecondary diploma or certificate, or a combination of education, training and relevant experience.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a progressively responsible program or administrative coordination role; experience in a law-related, non-profit or foundation environment is an asset.
  • Previous experience in grant administration, program management, or related roles is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in data management and analysis including advanced skills in MS Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of grant-making software and processes, funding cycles, and compliance requirements is an asset.
  • PMP training and/ or equivalent project management experience is an asset.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and using a range of tech platforms, including MS Office and Teams
  • Bilingual English and French proficiency is an asset.
