Health Quality Ontario has released a report on the impact of mental health and addiction issues in the province, and at the same time examines the quality of care Ontarians are receiving.

"New mental health and addictions report: Taking Stock

A report on the quality of mental health and addictions services in Ontario

Taking Stock: A report on the quality of mental health and addictions services in Ontario created by Health Quality Ontario and the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES) explores the impact of mental illness and addictions in Ontario, and examines the quality of care Ontarians dealing with them are receiving.

About two million people in the province are affected each year by a wide variety of mental illnesses or addictions – and one-third of Ontarians who identified themselves as needing services in a 2012 survey reported not getting help, or having their needs only partially met.

Taking Stock examines where access to mental health and addictions services varies across the province and analyzes inconsistencies in the quality of services provided to different social and economic groups."

You can access this report on their website and I included the link below plus I also have attached the report as a PDF. This is a very comprehensive report and I found it to be very informative.
